Your pitch (in one short paragraph):

I’ll be doing a story on a new skate park in town, Bay198. Bay 198 is a locally owned and operated skate park that’s goal is to provide the city of Lincoln develop and grow the local skate culture. The owners and operators of Bay 198, who are young men, some students of the university want to to mentor and empower the skate culture through a positive environment. Skaters of all ages are welcome to creatively develop individual skills while cultivating an atmosphere of growth, love and community.

Explain why this story is best told using this format.
The story is best told by audio slideshow, because this way I can get pictures of the place, with voice over from the owners and visitors. Pictures of skaters in action, Bay 198 in general and possibly the business side of things will all be captured. Because Bay 198 is brand-new, I’ll also be going to the launch party which is Halloween themed.

How will you tell this story visually? Please be specific.

Visually the story will be told through pictures. Scenery pictures and action shots. I’ve never been to a skate park before, so this will be an experience for me as well. However, I hope to capture the building itself, but also how the park serves as a mentor and a place for guys to grow, both in skating and life.
List the names and titles of the sources (both those you have talked with already and those you plan to talk to) and describe what role they will play in the story.
